The app
One CLI for the whole workflow.
schematize is a Rust command-line app — desktop app included — that installs and versions engineering skills from a live catalog and runs overdev: continuous, unattended development that doesn't stop until the checklist is done.
Install on Linux
One command. Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint (.deb); openSUSE, Fedora and RHEL (.rpm); or a static binary. It builds from source on the machine — open-source, always matching main.
In a terminal:
curl -fsSL https://repo.schematize.org/install.sh | bashWhat the app does
Install & version skills
From a live remote catalog — one command pulls the whole set and keeps it current. New skills appear without reinstalling anything.
Desktop app included
A window to browse, install and update skills — ships prebuilt, no build tools required.
doctor · upgrade · status
Diagnose your setup, self-update, and see everything at a glance from the CLI.
Resident agent
Watches for new skill versions and blog posts and notifies you natively on the desktop.
Downloads
Install schematize on macOS or Linux — the desktop app ships with it.
The macOS app is not code-signed yet — the OS shows a one-time “unverified” warning on first launch (right-click → Open).
How it works
The app reads a live index (catalog.json) on GitHub, so publishing a new skill is just adding an entry — no CLI rebuild.
Install the app
One command installs the schematize CLI and its desktop app on Linux (.deb / .rpm / binary), or grab the macOS build.
Install skills
Run schematize install --all to pull every skill into .claude/, or install one by slug — browse the catalog at skills.schematize.org.
Stay current
The resident agent notifies you when a skill or the app updates; schematize upgrade self-updates.
Browse the skills.
The app installs skills from the open catalog — browse and pick what your project needs.
